Reviews

The bikes were in bad condition: some had bald tires, most of the tires were underinflated (riders had to ask for an air pump), only one or 2 had mirrors, they were dirty. They were clearly not checked out/tuned up/nor cleaned since the last tour. There was no first aide kit or even an ice pack available when one was needed. Although the guides were friendly and courteous, there was a lack of communication about times to meet, (we were told 2 different times by each guide), where to meet or where to find restaurants in a town where we had a lunch stop, or how to get to a restaurant in another town(the Ride with GPS did not take us to the preplanned lunch site and we had to find our own way there, with some people getting lost on the way). The guides were also unfamiliar with the routes. The guides did not give us any direction as far as where to go, what to see, points of interest, etc. Except for one stop off at a park and restaurants, we did not see anything else with the group as a whole other than while riding along the trail (and the trails were not that scenic). Despite all of the above, we did have a good time because the weather was great and the people were friendly and fun. The hotels were very comfortable and sufficient (Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express) and the breakfasts in the hotels were also very good. However, compared to the numerous bike tour groups we have traveled with, this one definitely ranks the lowest by far.

We had a good time overall, great accommodations, and enjoyed the various towns of the south. There was to many street crossings in Savannah and morning starts were slow, sometimes waiting 45 minutes to get going.

We had a fine time. Great scenery, good food and a nice group of people. Hotels were pretty god as well.

We had a great trip. Tour guides, Tony and Nick were great. A nice group, Largely paved bicycle paths and are very friendly to cyclists. I've been on many Senior Cycling tours and I hope to go on many others
